Dave Bourne
A quiet, unassuming scientist, Dave Bourne had an ability to forensically analyse a motorcycle and make an an accurate call about whether or not it was any good. He was the magazine’s main road tester through the first half of the 1980s.
We have tried to track Dave down, but so far he has proven elusive.
